Live one-on-one SAT coaching over video, on a fixed ten-week plan, with someone who notices what you're avoiding.
Start with week one, freeWeek one is the first meeting — thirty minutes, no charge, before you commit to anything.
What's different
The big prep companies sell you recorded lectures and a bottomless bank of auto-graded quizzes. You watch, you click, and nothing ever checks whether any of it actually landed.
No videos to work through on your own. We're on the same call for every session — which means I can see the moment you get lost and stop right there.
I take on a small number of students at a time, so the ten weeks bend around your specific gaps. Two students on the same schedule will spend their sessions on completely different things.
You leave each session with work to do, and I look at it before the next one. Missed weeks get noticed. That's most of what separates students who improve from students who meant to.
Shortcuts collapse the moment a question is phrased in a way you haven't seen. We build the underlying understanding, so an unfamiliar question is still a question you can answer.
The program
Everyone begins at week one and ends at week ten. The shape stays the same; what changes is how hard we push in the weeks where you're weakest.
Week 1 — free
Week one is the first meeting, and it costs nothing. Thirty minutes on how the SAT is actually built — the sections, the timing, how the second module adapts to how you did on the first, and how the scoring works. You take a baseline test afterwards so we both know where you're starting, and then you decide whether to carry on.
Weeks 2 to 9
Eight weeks, eight domains, in the order that makes sense for you. Each week is spent on the question types inside that domain until you can handle the hard ones, not just the easy ones.
Week 10
By week ten I've watched nine weeks of your work, so I know exactly which questions you've been missing and why. The last week is practice built only out of those — the same traps in unfamiliar questions, until they stop catching you. We finish with a full-length timed test and a plan for how you'll spend test day.
Rates
One price for the whole ten weeks, so you know what you're committing to before you start.

Who you'd be working with
I'm Arjun Sama, an aerospace engineering major at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, with a perfect 800 on the reading and writing section.
I got there in spite of the big prep companies rather than because of them. What they sold me was a library — recorded lectures to sit through, question banks to grind — and nothing in the whole apparatus knew what I kept getting wrong, or seemed curious to find out. So I stopped using it and built a plan of my own instead: ten weeks, one domain at a time, every mistake written down and returned to.
It worked. This is that plan, taught by the person who wrote it, and I keep enrollment small on purpose. Ten weeks of real attention only works if there's attention left to give.
Every session runs online over video, so it doesn't matter where you are. We pick a weekly slot at the start and hold it for the full ten weeks. All practice materials are included.
Tell me your test date and where you're scoring now. If ten weeks isn't what you need, I'll say so.
